The trainings are exceptional, and the trainers are well prepared, but I could not see myself in them. My experience as a person of color could only be observed but not felt. Providing a space where race, culture, and our own lived experiences feel understood is why I want to bridge the gap between access to IFS and Somatic work and therapists of color. This consultation focus is on the cluster of parts around our therapist part. The parts that feel a little guilty when they charge their clients, the parts that a tired of hearing about trauma, for the bilingual therapists who have an interpreter part working double. We will go through the 5 Somatic IFS practices to embody Self and help this cluster not burn out and be more present for your clients.
